Dear Egyptian friends, dear compatriots, dear visitor

Together with all the Embassy staff I welcome you to the website of the Swiss Embassy in Cairo.

This site aims to be the Swiss portal to Egypt, providing a multitude of information about our country, its relations to Egypt and the actions undertaken by this Embassy. I am sure that many of you will particularly be interested in our services for compatriots abroad and for the Egyptian citizens. To that end you will not only find useful information, but also documents and forms downloadable in order to facilitate administrative proceedings.

You will see that the pages on our website are both numerous and rich in content and diversity, reflecting the density of the Swiss-Egyptian partnership. We will do our best to keep them up-to-date and I hope that you will find it a reliable source of information. I invite you to send us any comments and suggestions you might have, making this site a true vector between Switzerland and Egypt, a means of communication and dialogue favouring our mutual understanding.

Thank you for your interest and for visiting our website.

Yours

Dominik Furgler
Swiss Ambassador
