The Swiss Egyptian Business Association (SEBA) is a non-governmental organization established in June, 2004 according to Law No. 84 for 2002 of the Ministry of Social Affairs in Egypt. It has been established and founded by a number of Swiss Egyptian Businessmen under the auspices of the Embassy of Switzerland in Egypt.

Our mission is to enhance and strengthen the industrial and commercial relations between the 2 countries towards development and economic growth by :

• Supporting and disclosing new business and market opportunities for industries trade and services in Egypt
• Ensuring sustainable economic relations between Egypt and Switzerland, taking into consideration the social, political and cultural aspects of the 2 countries

• To promote the development of commerce and investment between Egypt and Switzerland.
• To provide a forum in which Swiss business executives in Egypt and Egyptian Business executives with interests in Switzerland may identify, discuss and pursue common subjects regarding their activities.
• Coordinate the work of individuals and private or public organizations in Egypt and Switzerland when required.
• Encourage the transfer of technology and professional training.
• Support the creation of joint ventures in trade, industry and agriculture.
• Supply information, with the help of the competent authorities, about tourism, cultural, scientific and artistic possibilities in Switzerland and Egypt.
• Act as a mediator between Egyptian firms and possible Swiss Partners for business in Egypt or Switzerland.
• To be a direct liaison with the Chamber of Commerce of Switzerland and other chambers of commerce and business organizations.
• To express the views of the local Swiss business community to public and private interests in Egypt and Switzerland.
• To publish the latest Egyptian and Swiss economic and trade statistics, provide early access to Egypt's five-year plan and the annual budget and news magazines.
