According to the Schengen agreements, which require visa applications for Switzerland to be treated by a Swiss employee, and due to a temporary lack of personnel, the Embassy informs the esteemed Customers that the visa section of this Embassy is closed per 09.06.2009.

Since 11.11.2007, the Libyan authorities request, in addition to a valid visa, a legalised translation in Arabic of the passport for entering an exiting the country. The translation must be done by an official translator, written directly into the passport and include his/her official stamp.
