Voluntary OASI/DI Scheme

The Swiss Compensation Office and the DI Office for insured persons residing outside Switzerland, which are part of the Central Compensation Office, are the competent authorities for the administration of the voluntary OASI/DI scheme.

The Swiss missions abroad also assist with the administration of the voluntary insurance scheme and can be asked to carry out various tasks, such as providing information to members.

Soliswiss

As voluntary AHV membership has no longer been available to Swiss nationals living in the EU since April 1, 2001, the Cooperative Society Solidarity Fund for Swiss Nationals Abroad, Soliswiss, has expanded its services and now offers its members life and annuity insurance:

You can take out annuity insurance for yourself or for yourself and one further person. Your guaranteed pension is paid out for as long as the insured persons are alive. Guaranteed bonuses are not paid. In the event of death, any surrender value is paid out to your beneficiaries.
