The Swiss Business Hub UK Team welcomes you to the United Kingdom

Our team of three is highly motivated. We come from a variety of backgrounds. We are looking forward to meet representatives of interested companies, advising them on the most efficient way to access the UK market or providing the requested information.

Thorsten Terweiden, Head of SBH UK
In 1997, whilst Thorsten was still at university, he gathered valuable information in trade promotion when doing an internship for the German-British Chamber of Industry & Commerce in London. After doing an MA in Political/Communications/Applied Cultural Science in Münster, Germany in 1999, Thorsten worked as a researcher for the University of Münster, Germany. From 2001 to 2004 Thorsten gained private sector experience in customer care in the automotive industry in the UK. Thorsten joined the team as a Marketing Executive in 2004. He was promoted to Deputy Head in 2007 and to Head in July 2008. Thorsten looks forward to working for Swiss SMEs, interested in entering the UK market. He strongly encourages Swiss SMEs to do business in the UK because it offers a lot of potential with its adaptive and open business culture, paired with a dynamic and sustained economic growth.
Roland Boehi, Information Service.
Roland has worked for over 30 years in various roles for the FDFA all based at the Embassy of Switzerland in London. Eventually he moved to the Economic Section where he worked for five years before becoming part of the Swiss Business Hub UK team in 2002. Roland has got many years of valuable experience and an in-depth knowledge of British-Swiss business relations.
Nathalie Granier, Trade Officer, SBH UK

Nathalie joined the Swiss Business Hub UK in June 2008. She gained experience in helping UK and European companies to break into European markets while working for the Enterprise Europe Network (the former Euro Info Centre network) in Liverpool. Her postgraduate degree in European Affairs from the University of Franche-Comté culminated with a 3 month placement at the Franco-German Chamber of Commerce in Paris. Having participated in the process of promoting UK companies in Europe, Nathalie is very much looking forward to the challenge of assisting Swiss companies to develop their potential in the UK market.
