All other applicants, as well as persons residing in Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North and South Dakota, and Ohio can file applications by mail. However, if necessary, a personal interview might be requested.

No appointment is needed. The Consular Section is open to the public Monday to Friday, 9.00 a.m. - 12.00 noon, except holidays.

Visas cannot be processed on the same day. If you wish to have your passport/visa returned by mail after processing, please provide a prepaid self-addressed return envelope with a tracking number, indicating your name and address both as sender and recipient.

Payment options: cash or major credit cards are accepted (no American Express). By mail, only a money order will be accepted. Personal checks are not accepted.
