Cuban Interests Section

The Cuban Interests Section in Washington (SICW) and the United States of America Interests Section in Havana (USINT) were established on May 30, 1977, through the exchange of diplomatic notes between the governments of the United States of America and the Republic of Cuba.

Both Interests Sections are under the legal protection of the Swiss Embassies in Washington and in Havana.

Sección de intereses de Cuba

La Sección de intereses de Cuba en Washington (SICW) y la Sección de intereses de los Estados Unidos de América en La Habana (SINA) fueron establecidas mediante un canje de notas diplomáticas entre el gobierno de la República de Cuba y el gobierno de los Estados Unidos de América el 30 de Mayo de 1977.

La SICW funciona al amparo de la Embajada de Suiza en Washington mientras que la SINA opera bajo protección de la Embajada de Suiza en La Habana.
