What we do and who we are 

The Office of Science, Technology and Higher Education (OSTHE) at the Swiss Embassy in Washington, D.C. aims to strengthen cooperation in science, technology and higher education between Switzerland and the United States and Canada. It provides background and analysis to support fact-based policy decisions in Switzerland. The OSTHE showcases Switzerland as a hub for excellent higher education and research and promotes the exchange of ideas with scientists and science policy-makers.

Swiss knowledge network in the United States
In addition to our Office in Washington D.C., there are two Swiss science hubs in United States:
All three bodies report to both the State Secretariat for Education and Research and the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs.
