Education for girls is not only essential for the economic development of the country but also crucially contributes to stability and equity in the society. The project pilots the national gender strategy of the TED and hence does not only strengthen the capacity and the structure of the Ministry of Education (MoE) at central, provincial and district level but also promotes gender equality in the national education system and makes a contribution to the education policy.
