As announced earlier, on the third week of the German language days program, on 26.09.2016, the prize winning Swiss film “Heidi” (2015) by film director Alain Gsponer, was presented to the Armenian audience by the Embassy of Switzerland in Armenia. The event took place at the facilities of the Embassy of Germany in Armenia and was attended by about eighty people. Based on the feedbacks received after the screening, the film was highly appreciated by the public.

In his words of introduction, the Ambassador of Switzerland, Mr. Lukas Gasser, underlined the importance of Johanna Spyri’s novel “Heidi” as one of the world foremost classics of children’s literature, along with “Huckleberry Finn” and “Pinocchio”. He praised the first integral translation of “Heidi” into Armenian, which was published by “Zangak” and will also be presented in the framework of the German language days in Yerevan.

The Embassy of Switzerland in Armenia expresses its highest appreciation to the colleagues and the professional team that worked on the film without the contribution of which this projection wouldn't be possible.
