Ring the Bell for Gender Equality 2021

“Ring the Bell for Gender Equality” event held on March 9, 2021 encouraged businesses to promote Women’s Empowerment Principles and make it part of their corporate culture to enable women empowerment within the business and the communities they serve.
“Ring the Bell for Gender Equality” is a joint initiative of the United Nations Global Compact, Sustainable Stock Exchanges Initiative, UN Women, the International Finance Corporation, World Federation of Exchanges, and Women in Exchange Traded Fund (ETFs).
The speakers - women leaders of Armenian organizations participated discussed and agreed that while individual efforts are necessary for women empowerment and leadership, more important is an organization’s corporate culture.
The event was organized in the frame of the Swiss and Austrian funded regional “Women Economic Empowerment in the South Caucasus” project.
