The China Women’s Film Festival in Hong Kong is hosted by the China Women's Film Festival Limited and co-organized by the Diversity Independence Education, the Gender Studies Programme and the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

They are four of the most successful businesswomen in China: Yang Lan, Dong Mingzhu, Zhang Lan and Zhou Li. They belong to a generation that experienced the cultural revolution, followed by the subsequent economic boom, and they have worked their way to the top in a patriarchal society. The film explores the huge transformation taking place in Chinese business culture today.

Director Biography:
Patrik Soergel is a multi-award-winning director graduated from the European Film College in Denmark and the FAMU Accademy of Performing Arts in Prague. His work has been shown on Arte and Swiss TV, in countless international film festivals including IDFA Amsterdam, ZFF Zurich and distributed internationally. He is based in Switzerland and works with several film companies in Europe and the USA.
