Upon entry, proof of such insurance must be presented, either electronically or in paper form, issued in English or Georgian language, and must include the following mandatory information:
- Parties to the insurance contract
- Covered territory
- Subject matter of the insurance
- Commencement and expiration dates of the insurance coverage (the full period of a tourist’s stay in Georgia, including both arrival and departure dates, must be covered)
- Insured risks
- Amount of the insurance sum (limits)
- Amount of the insurance premium, place and terms of payment.
Holders of diplomatic and service passports, accredited staff of diplomatic missions and international organizations as well as their family members, persons entering Georgia under international agreements with Georgia and drivers engaged in international road freight and passenger transportation are exempt from this requirement.
