The delegation of the Embassy around Ambassador Peter Burkhard took the occasion to meet several representatives of Swiss businesses from multinational as well as small and medium-sized enterprises.

The agenda included a visit of the world-famous porcelain manufactory of “Zsolnay”, which was acquired by a Swiss businessman a few years ago. “Zsolnay” is one of the most important landmarks of the city of Pécs and figures as one of the most well-known Hungarian brand names.

Furthermore, the Embassy organized a meeting between representatives from politics and local Swiss businesses. All participants appreciated the direct exchange.

The visit to Pécs presented an excellent opportunity for the delegation to meet the different local actors on the ground and to gain an impression on the economic and political situation.
