Since 17 years, the human rights film festival Verzió shows documentaries about human rights and international social issues. It attracts an increasing number of viewers. The festival took place the 10th to 22nd of November, but due to Covid-19 it had to be held online.
The program consisted of 50 award-winning documentaries and raised the most pressing issues of our days, such as the impact of humanity on the environment, social justice, diversity of legal systems and forms of interest representation, but there were also films on freedom of the press, illegal detention of demonstrators and corruption investigations.
Switzerland was represented at this year's festival by the film "Wake up on Mars".
