The Tokyo Engeki Ensemble, directed by Akiko Komori, will present "Biedermann und die Brandstifter" ("The Firebugs"), a classic theater play by Swiss playwright and novelist Max Frisch (1911 –1991) in a new translation by Koki Matsuu. It is the Japanese premiere of this dark comedy that prompts serious questions about how individuals are impacted by society and conformity, even when this comes at great price.
