Composed of Jan Galega Brönnimann (Switzerland; contra alto-/bass clarinet, soprano sax), Prince Moussa Cissokho (Senegal; kora, vocals, talking drum) and Omri Hason (Israel; percussions, hang, kalimba), the JMO trio is back to Japan for a long-awaited second tour. Mixing sonorities from Africa, the Middle East, and Europe, its music is a reminiscence of the art of storytelling: the original association of the clarinet and the kora, a 26-strings African harp, creates warm and sparkling melodies that invite listeners on a journey to faraway lands.
