The Embassy of Switzerland in Jordan has the pleasure to announce that The Arabic Unit at the Faculty of Translation and Interpreting – University of Geneva offers the opportunity for students all over the world to study translation from English and French into Arabic.
The Arabic Unit offers a BA in Multilingual Communication face-to-face or remotely as well as M.A. in Translation.
Please find attached announcements for registration dates for all students who might be interested in studying translation.

The Embassy of Switzerland in Jordan has the pleasure to announce that the University of Fribourg will be granting the two types of scholarships for the academic year 2019/2020: A short stay for young researches who have a Doctoral Thesis in progress (4 months) and a short stay for young researches at Post-Doctoral level (1-3 months).

New Swiss Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis paid yesterday and today his first official visit to the Middle East with two days in Jordan. During his stay, he had a meeting with Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, he inaugurated the new building of the Swiss Embassy located in Abdoun, visited the UNRWA Vocational Training Center in Wadi Seer and the historical and archaeological city of Petra.

The Embassy of Switzerland in Amman and the Swiss Cooperation Office move into new joint premises. The Embassy will therefore remain closed on 6th and 7th May, and will resume normal operations at the new location on Tuesday 8th May 2018.
