At the occasion of a meeting between Swiss Foreign Minister Didier Burkhalter and Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, Switzerland and Jordan signed today a Memorandum of Understanding establishing bilateral political and security policy consultations. In the afternoon, Swiss Minister Burkhalter went to Azraq refugee camp to officially hand over a borehole and the main connecting pipelines that provide the basis for a sustainable and safe drinking water supply in the refugee camp. In the evening, Minister Burkhalter co-hosted a dinner at the World Economic Forum on the topic of young entrepreneurs in the Middle East and North Africa.

The Embassy of Switzerland in Amman is glad to announce the screening of the two documentary films «Nuestro Mar (Our Sea) » and «Horizontes» on December 1st at 7 pm at the Royal Film Commission (Film House Building) in Jabal Amman 1st Circle.
