UNRWA ILO Employment Center
The overall goal of the project is poverty reduction and social inclusion of Palestine refugees in Lebanon considered particularly as vulnerable in the Lebanese context. This will be achieved through delivering them a better access to employment opportunities. The specific objectives of the project are: (a) The Reinforcement of Palestine refugees’ employability through referral to adequate vocational and skill training providers for low-skills youth; apprenticeships and on-the-job training programmes; and job coaching services. (b) Enhancing the efficiency and coverage of Employment Services Centers (ESC), with referral of job seekers to quality placements. (c) Enhancing capacity of UNRWA to deliver professional employment services. (d) Enhancing connectivity of employment services to partners and stakeholders such as the Ministry of Labour, the National Employment Office, Employers and workers organizations.
