Effective 1 April 2022, Malaysia is in transition to endemic phase of COVID-19 and its international borders has been reopened. Applicable safety protocols for travellers are available at MySafeTravel.

Certain standard operating procedures (SOP) are still in place. Find out about the SOP on the local authority portal and National Security Council website. Keep up to date with the latest developments, follow the guidelines of the national authorities as well as the rules of the individual states and follow their instructions.

Please note that the Malaysian authorities are constantly updating COVID requirements. It is essential to check the latest information. For this purpose, you should refer to official portals of the Malaysian authorities.

Regarding the Covid-19 public and health related issues, kindly consult the information and directives of the Malaysia Ministry of Health as well as the recommendation of the World Health Organisation WHO.

If you are Swiss and travelling abroad, register now on the "Travel Admin App". If you are already back in Switzerland or if your travel dates have changed, it would be very helpful to us if you could update them. App available with IOS and Android.

Rules to enter Switzerland

Please be informed that no Covid-19 restrictions are currently in force and the general entry conditions apply for Switzerland.
