The “Mongol Yak” Festival initiated by the Green Gold Animal Health Project of SDC five years ago is included in the National Tourism Programme. The festival, which aims to promote yak products and community based local tourism to increase income of yak herders is to be included in the programme of Mongolian tour operators starting from 2019.
