The Swiss author Peter Stamm will hold readings in the House of Literature in Oslo, Folkebiblioteket in Trondheim and in the library in Tromsø, presenting his two novels “Weit über das Land” and “Ungefähre Landschaft”. The latter is a narration about a woman in a village in northern Norway. It broaches the issue of darkness and loneliness. The former tells the story of a man in Switzerland, leaving his wife and the children. In this novel, the consequences for the family and the new life of the man are issued. After the reading, there will be talks with the author. The event is organized by the Goethe Institut and the publishing house called Bokvennen.
