WHO - Emergency drugs supplies
Today hospitals in Gaza are ill-prepared to meet the critical needs arising from a wide-scale emergency, because the health sector in the Strip is already suffering from a chronic shortage of medical supplies and fuel for years. In order to prevent the collapse of the Palestinian health system, to mitigate the effects of the supply shortages and to respond to the emergency situation prevailing in Gaza due to the heavy shelling causing thousands of civilians causalities, SDC is responding to a WHO emergency humanitarian appeal that will serve to purchase medical supplies to cover the needs of at least 37.000 patients.
