Short term Schengen visa to Switzerland are provided by the VFS Joint Visa Application Centre for the Netherlands Embassy in Muscat Oman.

The announcement was made by the Royal Oman Police authorities, stating that the visa-on-arrival for travelers by road is now an exception to the rule and e-visas should be used wherever possible, which also make things easier for travelers themselves.
