Pakistan/Hindukush: FATA Livelihood Development Project (FLDP)
The “FATA Livelihood Development Project” (FLDP), to be implemented by the “Community Appraisal and Motivation Programme” (CAMP), aims at reducing the poverty of selected FATA communities living in Kurram Agency and Khyber Agency through increasing their access to livelihood opportunities and basic public infrastructure. The Project’s investment in community organization and capacity building aims at enabling communities (rights holders) to analyze their needs and potentials, recognize the role of the different stakeholders, and ultimately promote, plan and implement local initiatives to improve their living conditions – in close cooperation with local governments (duty bearers), with which a relationship of mutual trust and accountability needs to be created or enhanced.
