Appui à la décentralisation

Projekt abgeschlossen

Regarding the Federal Council Dispatch on the continuation of technical cooperation and financial assistance for developing countries, the present project supports strategies in order to reduce poverty. APODER will intensify in future its cooperation with regional governments and put even more emphasis on advocating for public policies in favour of rural municipalities. Main attention will be devoted to transferring know-how to municipalities and partners from the civil society. APODER will consolidate its cooperation with the municipalities so far supported, and it will intensify its cooperation with the three regional governments of Cuzco, Apurimac and Cajamarca. In doing so, it will reach an indirect coverage of some 30% of the municipalities in these three regions and therefore include a population of 0.8 million of inhabitants (3 % of the population of Peru). At the time of the planning of the 3rd phase of APODER, SDC was considering an overall time frame for the project lasting until 2013-2014.
