Bucharest, October 24, 2017: launching of the selection process for 80 producers in the field of wood furniture and ecological agriculture, who will benefit from a complete export training program within the project "Integrated export services for SMEs in Romania", financed by Switzerland through the Swiss Contribution under the Swiss-Romanian Cooperation Program.

The overall goal of the project is to promoting the companies beneficiary of the export training programme and to help them to become competitive on the international market.

The selected companies in the fields of wood furniture and ecological agriculture will attend an intensive training program during one year. The companies will be supported through coaching and mentoring services by teams of specialists from the Centres for Business for Export in Ploieşti and Bacau, that have been created in the first stage of this program within the two Chambers of Commerce and Industry. The training will focus the following topics: the export strategy, potential markets analysis, innovative product development and technology development, packaging and labelling, branding and promotion, tax legislation, certification and quality standards, distribution channels. The courses are lectured by a team of Romanian and foreign experts.

Among the outputs expected at the end of the training are the export business plan of the participating firms, the attending for free at a number of international exhibitions and the matchmaking sessions.

This project is implemented by a Consortium of Gama Proconsult, The Chamber of Comerce and Industry Prahova, Impulse Partners and TDP Partners.
