Swiss citizens who get into difficulties abroad, also can ask for advice and help from the Swiss representative.

The magazine for the Swiss Abroad appears six times a year and provides information about what is happening at home and the activities of Swiss associations abroad. It also answers administrative questions.

The launching event aimed at presenting the Internal Affairs Programme, operated by the Romanian Ministry of Internal Affairs, which focuses on:

Implementation of the community police concept in selected Romanian localities;
Fight against human trafficking and organised crime;
Improvement of emergency interventions, including air rescue

Several Romanian and Swiss actors are involved in the Programme's activities: the General Inspectorate of Romanian Police, Department for Emergency Situations, General Inspectorate of Aviation as well as several Swiss partners such as the Federal Office of Police, Savatan Police Academy, NGO Coginta and Basel Institute on Governance.
