The Ambassador of Switzerland in Serbia, Mr. Urs Schmid, on 26 July 2021 visited the municipality of Vrbas to attend the signing ceremony between the Ministry of Mining and Energy, represented by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Mining and Energy, Mrs. Zorana Mihajlovic, and the selected contractor, Morava In, that will perform energy efficiency rehabilitation of one school and four kindergartens in that municipality. This contract, worth 1,4 million EUR, is funded by Switzerland through the Municipal Energy Efficiency and Management Project and will contribute to a significant reduction of energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions while increasing the comfort for children and education professionals.

On June 18, Switzerland and Montenegro held their third round of political consultations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Podgorica. The Swiss delegation was led by Ambassador Anna Ifkovits Horner, Assistant State Secretary and Head of the Eurasia Division at the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA), whereas the Montenegrin delegation was headed by Ambassador Ljubomir Mišurović, State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
