The establishment of the Impact Angel Network Serbia should contribute to overcoming one of the key challenges – lack of risk-capital investments. The key role of business angels is to validate startups on the local market and to accelerate the development of their business models by facilitating access to significant financial resources.

The establishment of the network is part of the project "Support to the development of an Impact Angel Network" supported by the Government of Switzerland and implemented by the Impact Hub Belgrade. The project period is from May to August 2018, worth EUR 42’000 and is directly addressing the strategic goal of the Swiss Government, which is economic development and employment.
