After a short presentation of the company’s business performance in the last years and an update on current and future investment plans and new portfolio initiatives, ambassador Schmid made a guided tour through the factory. During a joint lunch, ambassador Schmid could also test some of Nestlé’s new products, many of them being exported to European markets, including to Switzerland. Ambassador Schmid congratulated Nestlé’s management not only for its ambitious environmental goals but also for participating in the dual education program in Serbia by fulfilling all conditions for two educational profiles and having obtained an instructor license. He noticed that by this the company additionally opened the door to young people to acquire practical and applicable skills in the real working environment. Switzerland supports the dual education program in Serbia as an opportunity to further help young people in the education process by learning and applying modern technological developments in the companies.
