The magazine for the Swiss Abroad appears six times a year and provides information about what is happening at home and the activities of Swiss associations abroad. It also answers administrative questions.

Within the Culture for Democracy Project cultural actors will be provided with resources to unleash their potential for triggering critical and creative thinking around topics of immediate relevance for their communities.

The open call refers to the Job shadowing grant scheme.

Job shadowing aims to to build capacities of cultural and artistic professionals in Serbia by providing grants for on-the-job training and learning from practice. Job shadowing may be implemented through two models:

1) an internship model that is open to less experienced cultural workers from Serbia (candidates) who will gain important work experience from the host organization and its employees, or

2) an on-the-job training model in which the host organization hires an expert who can contribute to higher quality and more efficient work of the organization and its employees through the exchange of knowledge and experience.

Deadline for applications submission is May 18^th 2023. Applications are to be send to grants@heartefact.org. The CfD Project Team stands ready to assisst with project applications and any questions/concerens that may arose in the application process. The Culture for Democracy Project aims at supporting the independent cultural sector to contribute to improved social cohesion and tolerance at the local level. Supported by the Government of Switzerland with EUR 970’000, the first project phase lasts from October 2021 until February 2025, and is implemented by Heartefact Fond.
