The third call in this category was open until April 20, 2024. During the open call for project proposals, Heartefact received a total of 13 proposals, out of which 5 were selected for funding. The areas these projects cover include theatre, spatial installations, publishing, and circus arts. Two projects fall under Model 1: Internship, and three under Model 2: On-the-Job Training. The organizations whose project proposals were selected for funding are from Nis, Sonta, and Novi Sad.

The Culture for Democracy project aims to contribute to strengthening the independent cultural sector to foster greater social cohesion and tolerance at the local level. The first phase of the project runs from October 2021 to February 2025 and is supported by the Swiss Government with a grant of EUR 1’945’000, implemented by the Heartefact Foundation.
