Culture for Democracy: Invitation for Job Shadowing grant applications ©Heartefact

This call is open to all cultural and artistic sectors, approaches, and work modalities. Job shadowing aims to build capacities of cultural and artistic professionals in Serbia by providing grants for on-the-job training and learning from practice. It is a knowledge-transfer model based on peer-to-peer learning. Job shadowing may be implemented through two models:

Internship model – open to less experienced cultural workers from Serbia who will gain valuable work experience from the host organization and its employees, or
On-the-job training model – in which the host organization engages an expert who can contribute to higher quality and more efficient work of the organization and its employees through the exchange of knowledge and experience.

Deadline for applications submission is June 15^th, 2026. The project team stands ready to assist with project applications and any questions/concerns that may arose in the application process via cfdproject@heartefact.org . The Culture for Democracy project aims at supporting the independent cultural sector to contribute to improved social cohesion and tolerance at the local level. Supported by the Government of Switzerland with CHF 1’940’000, the second project phase lasts from March 2025 until December 2028, and is implemented by Heartefact Fond.
