Writer and film maker Michael Schindhelm will present his latest publication, “Happy Tropics I”, co-authored with Swiss art historian Damian Christinger at the European Writers Festival (EUWF).
It is the result of a research into the changing cultural landscapes of Singapore and the intercultural dialogues here.
He will also refer to the transmedia project Lavapolis, which is a collaboration with the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK), the European Parliament and the Venice Biennale in 2014.
This experimental project relates the development of Lavapolis, a utopian and fictional country which counters the pitfalls of our contemporary societies.
