As part of the Swiss-Slovenian cooperation programme, Switzerland provided around CHF 5 million to help purchase the linear accelerators for the radiology department and finance the further training courses. The Oncology Department of the Cantonal Hospital of Bellinzona has been involved in the project as a Swiss partner, contributing in particular to the training courses.
