Hintergrund

Since December 2013, violence and food insecurity have displaced nearly 2.27 million people, including approximately 1.64 million people who remain internally displaced and left millions more in need of humanitarian assistance. Approximately 200’000 people have sought protection in PoC sites. The continuous flow of new arrivals places great stress on already stretched humanitarian service provision.

Ziele

The overall goal of this project is to improve humanitarian response and develop a more effective approach to IDP protection in POC sites across South Sudan.
