Allocation (Cash) of SDC Funding to UNICEF Emergency Operations in 2016

Project completed

In line with the Good Humanitarian Donorship (GHD) principles, Switzerland recognizes the necessity of addressing underfunded crisis in a more predictable manner. SDC funding to UNICEF emergency programmes in 8 underfunded emergency situations allows UNICEF to better plan its assistance programmes and proactively respond to situations as needed. Moreover, contributions will not be thematically earmarked.
