Exhibition

Liechtenstein is the only country in the world named after the family name of the ruling monarch. Although it is a small country situated between Switzerland and Austria, Liechtenstein holds one of the most extensive private art collections in the world.

This exhibition comprises about 130 works from the princely collection, including some by Rubens, Jan Brueghel the Elder and Lucas Cranach the Elder and features many other Northern Renaissance, Baroque and Rococo pieces. Porcelain works reecting the tastes of some of the most prominent aristocrats in Europe will also be on display.
