The Trade Office of Swiss Industries facilitates and promotes economic, cultural, educational, scientific and tourism exchanges between Switzerland and Taiwan. As part of our mandate we are honoured to represent the Swiss public universities and shine a spotlight on the world-class competitive Swiss education system.

Switzerland’s university system is based on three pillars:

1. traditional universities & fundamental research, 
2. applied sciences and arts, and 
3. teacher education.

Each university type serves a specific purpose in the Swiss education, research and innovation sector. The focus of our presence are pillars (1) and (2) as the offer in teacher education (3) is less accessible for foreign students due to language requirements.
