Hon. Ummy Mwalimu and H.E. Florence Tinguely Mattli also visited four other institutions in the Ifakara Cluster of Health Institutions which include TTCIH, St. Francis Designated Regional Referral Hospital, St. Francis College of Health and Allied Sciences, Edgar Maranta School of Nursing and Ifakara Health Institute. This cluster of five institutions is the result of a seed planted in 1921 by Baldegge sisters from Switzerland when they inaugurated their first dispensary in the district.
