Thomas Locher, mechanical engineer, graduated from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology and is now employed by Armasuisse. He has successfully completed the Empire Test Pilot School (ETPS) in Boscombe Down, Wiltshire, and received a special award at the graduation ceremony on 13 December 2017 for the best team thesis (together with a Finnish and an Australian colleague).
During a visit to the Swiss Embassy in London on 15 December, the Swiss Ambassador Alexandre Fasel and the Swiss Defence Attaché Colonel (GS) Martin Lerch congratulated him on this outstanding award and wished him all the best and every success in the future.
