Improving the Protection of Vulnerable Migrants Travelling through the Horn of Africa

This initiative is the third phase of SDCs and the Federal Office for Migration (FOM) joint support of IOMs Mixed Migration Program in the Horn of Africa. People in mixed migration flows have different protection needs and are often highly vulnerable and exposed to abuse, torture and horassment during their travel and upon arrival. The aim of this intervention is to increase protection for people in mixed migration flows in the Horn of Africa region and to povide them with appropriate assistance.
