Additional Allocation of SDC Funding (Asia-Americas Division) in 2025 to ICRC Operation in Afghanistan
The humanitarian situation in Afghanistan remains extremely dire as a result of decades of armed conflict, economic hardship and natural disasters. SDC funding to ICRC operations allows the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) to respond proactively and to provide immediate protection and assistance for people affected by armed conflict and other situations of violence.
