WSP Water & Sanitation Programme Global and Africa/South Asia regions
WSP is the main network supported by SDC Water in its endeavour to influence at global level the achievement of the WASH-related MDGs and beyond. As a key supporter since its beginnings, the SDC has a special role in the steering of the WSP activities and is closely involved in the activities on global, regional and national levels. The driver of the WSP is to support governments scale up improved WSS services and hygiene programs for poor people. It achieves this by providing technical assistance, capacity building, and leveraging knowledge and partnerships through its network of over 125 technical staff in 24 countries across Africa, East Asia-Pacific, South Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean.
