Strengthening education capacity in emergency and crisis situations through support to the Interagency Network for Education in Emergencies (INEE)
Planned project
Emergencies and protracted crisis situations are a major barrier for children’s and youth’s education; crisis-situations are among the key factors for stalling progress towards SDG 4. SDC’s support to the Interagency Network for Education in Emergencies (INEE) enhances capacity for strengthened preparedness, response and recovery capacity in the field of education. As the leading global convener for education in crises, INEE consists of more than 130 members-organizations in 190 countries.
