SMArt – Sustainable Mountain Art

Project completed

Global key challenges addressed by the SDC’s Global Programmes include climate change, water, migration, and food security. In order to promote the public’s awareness of these challenges, this project applies art and culture as an additional communication channel. A special focus is given to the linkages of mountain regions with these global themes. The overall objective is to sensitize the civil society in key aspects of sustainable development. Strong links of art and culture are developed between Switzerland and partner countries in order to foster a dialogue and promote the same common issues.
