Contexte The Sobat Corridor in Upper Nile State has been heavily affected by the ongoing conflict, exposing populations to several threats of violence. This is made worse by long standing inter and intra clan conflicts related to cattle raiding and competition over resources like pasture and water, which are usually violent, resulting in deaths and displacement. Women and children are exposed to protection risks such as GBV, forced child recruitment and separation (unaccompanied and separated minors, UASMs). Humanitarian actors also face difficulties in delivering aid due to access constraints and lack of coordination.
