Soutenir la traçabilité des animaux dans la région du Caucase du Sud

Dans l’agriculture moderne, il est indispensable de connaître l’origine des animaux et de récolter des informations sur leur santé pour éviter la propagation de maladies et empêcher la mise sur le marché de produits issus d’animaux malades. Un système de traçabilité contribuera à augmenter les revenus des agriculteurs du Caucase du Sud grâce à l’effet combiné d’une meilleure productivité des élevages et d’un meilleur accès aux marchés pour les produits.

Regional Rapid Response Teams for a strengthened decentralized Rescue System in Armenia (phase II)

Since 2013, SDC has been making important contributions to the build-up of decentralized rescue teams in Armenia to be deployed in case of earthquakes and other natural or man-made disasters. Taking into account the country's high risk profile, a further upscale of the existing capacities to the level of "medium rescue" according to the International Search and Rescue Advisory Group (INSARAG) is deemed necessary in order to better reach out to trapped victims. The training and equipment of two additional regional teams is a core piece of the intervention

First Allocation of SDC Funding to ICRC Operations in 2015

In line with the Good Humanitarian Donorship (GHD) principles, Switzerland recognizes the necessity of predictable and flexible funding to respond to changing needs in humanitarian crises. SDC funding to ICRC operations allows the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) to respond proactively and to provide immediate protection and assistance for people affected by armed conflict and other situations of violence.

Des marchés qui fonctionnent pour les éleveurs arméniens

Dans les régions de Syunik et de Vayots Dzor, au sud de l’Arménie, la plupart des agriculteurs pratiquent une agriculture de subsistance et parviennent à peine à subvenir aux besoins de leur famille. Ce projet veut les aider à accroître leur production de viande et de lait, et donc leurs revenus. Pour cela, il est prévu de soutenir les services vétérinaires locaux afin d’améliorer la santé du bétail, de faciliter l’accès aux marchés de la viande et du lait et d’encourager l’échange d’expertise parmi les agriculteurs.

Améliorer la gestion des communes et augmenter la participation des citoyennes en Arménie

La Suisse accompagne le gouvernement arménien dans ses plans de réforme territoriale et administrative, plus précisément au niveau du processus de fusion des communes qui engendre souvent des craintes de la part de la population. Au programme : guichets uniques, système de gestion électronique et renforcement de la participation des femmes en politique.

DRR awareness raising and prevention in rural regions

Armenia‘s capacities on locat level are insufficient for an appropriate disaster management. The vulnerability of the peopte can be substantially reduced when they are weil informed and motivated towards a culture of prevention and resilience, This requires collection, compilation and dissemination of knowiedge on hazards, vulnerabitities and capacities. The project‘s focus is on the elaboration of a consolidated methodology on Community Based Disaster Risk Assessment, capacity building of locat authorities and on the coordination between bocal, regional and national stakeholders for further DRR actions.

SDC has a long standing collaboration with the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES), which showed notable progress in the sphere of Disaster and Risk Reduction (DRR). Considering the existing capacities on the level of light rescue and the country's risk profile, important needs especially at the regional level still persist. The project's overall goal is to strengthen the decentralized rescue system through improved response capacities of the responsible governmental institutions.

Depuis la chute de l’Union soviétique et le démantèlement des grandes fermes collectives, le secteur de la production de fruits en Arménie se compose en majorité d’exploitations de subsistance. Par ce projet, la DDC aide les fruiticulteurs de la région de Meghri, au sud du pays, à assainir et à développer leurs cultures ainsi qu’à écouler leurs récoltes sur les marchés.

Regional Art and Culture Programme in the South Caucasus

The present project promotes contemporary arts as an open and interactive platform that can display new perspectives and social mechanisms to the audience, and that can support and stimulate South Caucasian artists. It will be implemented by Georgian and international organizations and focuses on contemporary dance and experimental arts; small grants; arts for marginalised communities; and capacity building of arts and culture institutions.
